Erika Jurkovic grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, where she eventually began her career as a tattoo artist. From a young age, she developed a strong interest in drawing and painting. At 13 years old, she became fascinated by tattoos on the arms of her favorite musicians and soon decided to do her first tattoo. Not content with mainstream ideas and pursuits, she decided to explore this unique art form for herself. This eventually led to an apprenticeship in Atlanta in 1995. Her career has taken her across the country and back, helping her gain experience and wisdom from many talented artists. She continues to develop her own style specializing in traditional, realism, pin-ups, and pet portraits. She is the owner of Halo Tattoo Collective in Long Beach, California. Certified in blood-borne pathogens and disease prevention, she considers health and safety to be one of her top priorities. Erika is a creative and versatile artist who is passionate about her work and strives to create a great experience for her clients.
